Do I have to register?
The
short answer is "no". You can browse the bookshop, put books into your shopping
cart, and even checkout, without registering. This is called a "Quick Checkout".
However, at checkout, you will be asked if you want to register then. When
registering, we will ask you for your name, your ship-to address, and your
billing address (but NOT your credit/debit card details). These are all the
things you need to provide us with so we can send your order to you, even if you
go for a Quick Checkout.
The only difference between registering and the Quick Checkout, is that we save
your name and addresses on our database, so if you come back to us at anytime in
the future, you can just click "Returning Customer", and you won't have to type
your details all over again.
Other advantages of registration include
- Ability to track the progress of your order, from the moment you place it, to the moment it is posted to you.
- Ability to view and print an official Invoice and Receipt for your order, should you need to claim the cost from your employer, for example.
- Ability to view your ordering history.
- Ability to participate in our
Affiliate
Program and make some cash when you refer somebody to us.
Note: We do not store your credit/debit card details. We don't even see those
details. The card transaction is carried out by WorldPay. They are the
professionals in on-line security and card transactions, so it makes sense for
us to leave all that to them.
Also, we hate spam! We would never send spam emails ourselves, and hate any
online organisation that sends spam emails. Hence, we would never use your
details to send you unsolicited emails, nor would we allow your details to be
passed to any third party organisation.
You have the option to receive a News Letter from us whenever new titles are
stocked, or special offers are listed, which you can switch off at any time from
your Account page.
And of course, you can delete your account at any time you wish, just by
clicking the Delete Account button in your Account page.
